Thirteen years ago I created this blog for a very specific, almost laser-like purpose. If you don’t recall what that is (or know how a purpose can be laser-like) I am here to tell you now, this is all about returning home. After four years of pandemic total lockdown the people of Canada are finally allowed to leave their homes and breathe the outside air. And I have elected to use the precious three days before forest fire season forces us back inside to travel all the way down to New York City.
You see diehardthree.com at its heart is (and will always be) a travel blog. That’s why for my first post in almost a year, I’m going use my time in New York City to write an extensive multi-part analysis of one of my all-time favourite movies, Dolores Claiborne (1995).
